New "Rising Star" Ja Morant gets the attention of top NBA evaluator, LeBron James |
In Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals, Ja Morant– unknown rising star for the Memphis Grizzlies– got the attention of LeBron James.
Did LeBron James Put The World On Notice of Ja Morant?

As Dave Portnoy, aka El Presidente, alluded to, LeBron James basically put the entire world on notice of Ja Morant.
Prior to LeBron opening Twitter(dot)com and raving about Morant's play, no one really knew who Ja Morant was. Sure, he was the former No. 2 pick behind Zion Williamson in the 2019 NBA Draft, but how was anyone supposed to know he would actually be good?
Without LeBron James tweeting about Morant, I personally wouldn't even know who he is, and I watch a lot of NBA. LeBron just really knows how to evaluate talent, so when he gave Ja Morant the nod of being a "Rising Super⭐," it was clear to me that Ja Morant might actually be good at basketball.
Thank you, LeBron, for the incredible NBA analysis, as always.
Since you, LeBron, put Ja Morant on notice of being a rather good NBA player, care to give your thoughts on Michael Jordan? Been watching some of his tape, and he honestly looks pretty good. I just wouldn't want to call him a Rising Star without LeBron James' approval.
